Was born in Uganda and first came to the UK in 1990. He left Uganda because of political persecution. He is the current Chairman of Acholi Association.
But then I came here purposely really to look for a place of peace and security. But if it were not because of insecurity and brutality of the regime at home I wouldn't have thought of coming outside at all. Because I was self sufficient in Uganda, I was a Government civil servant, I was highly employed so I wasn't looking for any economic benefit at all in Europe.
